Abstract
⺠High temperature operation of photonic-crystal quantum cascade lasers was present.⺠Photonic-crystal structure was fabricated by wet chemical etching. ⺠Waveguide loss was significantly reduced. ⺠Single-mode operation with a near-diffraction-limited beam quality was obtained.
