Abstract
⺠A framework of high-order surface stress is proposed to simulate the bending behavior of nanowires. ⺠This study provides a continuum-mechanics modeling in the bending behavior of nanowires. ⺠Our results give more accurate results than those estimated by the conventional surface stress model.
