Abstract
► Effects of asymmetric electron injection are studied for spin-polarized transport. ► Aharonov-Bohm rings with two magnetic impurities are considered. ► A new unitary parametrization of the vertex scattering operator is employed. ► Aharonov-Bohm oscillations and entanglement generation are analyzed. ► Asymmetry turns out to be less influential for lateral than for serial coupling.
