Abstract
⺠The paper quantifies the electromechanical effects on the band structure of wurtzite quantum dots. ⺠Systematic study of intra-subband energies based on 2-, 6- and 8-bands k.p method has been performed. ⺠Non-parabolicity terms in the effective mass approximation theories have been analyzed in detail. ⺠The influence of the gate controlled electric fields on the intra-subband energy is explored.
