We theoretically predict giant thermoelectric effects in graphene superlattices (SLs) containing a defect barrier by using a transfer matrix approach. A great thermoelectric effect occurs near the defect mode, the magnitude of the enhancement being among the largest reported ever. It is found that the magnitude of the enhancement could be controlled by adjusting the structure parameters of graphene SLs.
