Abstract
⺠The role of band structure of individual single-walled carbon nanotube in electrochemical activity of nanotube ensemble was examined. ⺠Chiral vectors of individual nanotubes in the ensemble were assigned on the base of Raman breathing mode positions. ⺠Electron transfer rates of individual tubules from the ensemble show similar kinetics. ⺠It was shown that electronic states away from the Fermi level contribute to the electron transfer process.
