Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the contribution of the Rashba spin–orbit coupling in a two-dimensional electron system (2DES) of an inversion layer under quantum Hall regime as a function of the magnetic field. The study is based on a semiclassical model for the magnetoconductivities of the 2DES. This model reproduces the measurements of the Subnikov–de Haas oscillations obtained in III–V heterostructure, and shows the Rashba spin–orbit coupling at low fields. We also discuss the Rashba and Zeeman competition and its effect on the magnetoconductivity.
