Abstract
⺠We present a theoretical review of optical injection and coherent control. ⺠We consider full-Brillouin zone band structure providing wide frequency range for the calculations. ⺠The spin properties of injected carriers are presented. ⺠Currents normal to the surface are calculated for the first time.
