Abstract
⺠Spin-dependent conductance is calculated using discrete Lippmann-Schwinger equation. ⺠The role of the Rashba interaction in the genesis of conductance peaks is studied. ⺠There exists a full correlation between the position of the peaks of conductance and the gate voltage values corresponding to the quasi-bound states. ⺠The spin flip occurs in the Fano resonance region. ⺠The distance between the points of zero and maximum conductance non-monotonically depends on the Rashba parameter.
