Abstract
Theoretically and experimentally it has been suggested that electrons in the quasi-two-dimensional organic compound α-(BEDT-TTF2I3α-(BEDT-TTF2I3 should have massless Dirac fermion energy spectrum with tilted Dirac cone. We show that a Dirac cone tilting leads to oscillations in the interlayer magnetoresistance if one applies an in-plane magnetic field and changes the orientation of the magnetic field. We derive the theoretical formula for the interlayer magnetoresistance and discuss application to α-(BEDT-TTF2I3α-(BEDT-TTF2I3.
