Abstract

We theoretically investigate the transmission probability and the electron conductance as well as the spin polarization in a magnetically modulated two-dimensional electron gas under the influence of the periodic δ-dopingδ-doping. It is observed that these quantities sensitively depend on the number (m  ) of periods. For the number, m>1m>1, the spin splitting occurs in each resonant domain, and the number of the spin-splitting peaks in each resonant domain is 2m−1. It is also observed that the electron conductance decreases for the bigger m, and both the transmission probability and the spin polarization show a similar-periodic profile with the increase of L.
