Abstract
► We numerically investigated the spatial distribution of the edge states. ► Aharonov-Bohm interference performed at the integer and fractional Hall regimes. ► In the integer regime edge states are less affected by the change in B. ► For fractional case, area shrinks with increasing magnetic fields. ► Gate defined samples show enhanced areal dependency due to smoother edge profile.
