Abstract
► A simple, surfactant-free process is adopted for synthesizing V2O5 nanostructures. ► XRD pattern of V2O5 nanostructure confirms the pure orthorhombic phase. ► Room temperature sensitivity has been achieved for porous flower-like structures. ► Increase in surface area of the porous structure enhances the gas sensing property.
