Abstract
We present a theoretical analysis of the collective emission and absorption from an assembly of N nearly identical two-level quantum dot aggregate which is placed into a very high Q resonant microcavity. The quantum dots are assumed to be interacting only with a single-mode resonant electromagnetic field. No Coulomb coupling or real charge transport between quantum dots is also assumed. The collective emission and absorption from the quantum dot aggregate for various initial preparations of the system are considered.
