Abstract
We report fabrication of p-n heterojunctions between hydrogenerated amorphous carbon doped with nitrogen (a-C:H-N, n-type)/p-silicon exhibiting good rectifying current-voltage characteristics. All such heterojunctions show the photocarrier injection effect, illustrating the control of transport properties of a-C:H-N films due to photogenerated hole injection from silicon.
