Abstract
PbS crystals with flower-like morphology were synthesized in ethylenediamine by microwave thermolysis of a single-source molecular precursor of lead diethyldithiocarbamate (Pb(DDTC)2). The as-prepared products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and selected area electron diffraction (SAED). The formation mechanism of the flower-shaped PbS crystals was discussed and the optical property was investigated by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy.
