Abstract
Electron Raman scattering (ERS) is investigated in cylindrical quantum dot (QD) in the presence of a magnetic field. The ERS cross-section is calculated as a function of a scattering frequency, magnetic field and QD size. The process involves an interband electronic transition and an intraband transition between quantized subbands. We study selection rules for the processes. We analyze the differential scattering configurations.
