Abstract
Numerical simulation based on FP-LAPW calculations is applied to study the optical properties of the cubic InxGa1−xN alloy and we present the dielectric function, the refractive index, the absorption coefficient, and the optical conductivity. The results obtained indicate that InGaN is an attractive material for optoelectronic and photovoltaic applications from the ultra violet to infrared.
