Abstract
⺠A computer-based method using trigonometric functions for cylindrical projection is developed. ⺠A wide range of configurations: segment of a circle, semi-circle, circle, and planes are used. ⺠Sun position in the sky at any time and any location is used to assess sunshine availability. ⺠The method may exhibit some inconvenience for low latitudes.
