Abstract
⺠The efficiency of unglazed transpired solar collectors was measured during 2 winter seasons. ⺠The solar collectors were used to warm up the ventilation air of two broiler barns in the Montreal region of Canada. ⺠The efficiency of the solar collectors was significantly affected by wind speed. ⺠The payback rate for the solar collectors is estimated.
