Abstract
⺠We have studied the specific heat of a cylindrical quantum dot. ⺠We have applied the Tsallis formalism to obtain specific heat. ⺠Specific heat a continuous function and it is zero at special temperature. ⺠Specific heat decreases with increasing temperature.
