Abstract
⺠Simulations of the electric field distribution in microstructures including field-pinning layers. ⺠Propagating Gunn domains are suppressed, but spatiotemporal inhomogeneities are still present. ⺠Fermi level alignment at heterojunctions is strongly temperature dependent.
