Abstract
⺠The possibility of quantum rod behaving as a quantum bit has never been addressed. ⺠Impurity effect of a quantum rod qubit is studied. ⺠Time and Coulomb potential-evolutions of probability density are studied. ⺠Effects of impurity, aspect ratio and coupling strength on oscillation period. ⺠Four ways of suppressing the decoherence process are found.
