Abstract
⺠The article represents synthesis of Co3O4/CoO nanorods by microwave route. ⺠It was found that Co3O4/CoO nanorods have a length of 80 nm and a diameter of 42 nm. ⺠The optical band energy gap of the product was 1.79 eV. ⺠The materials behave as semiconducters and exhibit soft magnetic behavior. ⺠This makes Co3O4/CoO nanorods very useful for supercapacitor devices application.
