Abstract
⺠Electric field effects on the optical properties of DSPQWs are investigated. ⺠The anti-crossing effect occurs for the asymmetric DSPQW by applying electric field. ⺠Electric field greatly influences the magnitude and position of the resonant peaks. ⺠Optical properties show their maximum magnitude for certain values of electric field. ⺠Resonant peaks of the symmetric DSPQW suffer a blue-shift by applying electric field.
