Abstract
Trimetallic PtAgCu@PtCu core@shell concave nanooctahedrons enclosed by high-index facets are synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method, which display superior electrocatalytic activity and stability for formic acid oxidation reaction (FAOR) relative to the Pt black. Concave surface incorporated with high index facets {310} in this trimetallic nanocrystals induce geometry and alloy effects, and thus the dehydrogenation pathway of the FAOR is strengthened.355
