Abstract

- Sn QDs uniformly embedded in N-doped carbon nanofibers composites were controllable synthesized by electrospinning.
- The carbon matrices accommodated the large volume change and prevented Sn QDs aggregation.
- The ultrasmall Sn QDs provided the short diffusion path for both electrons and ions.
- The unique structure could offer a dramatically synergic effect and contributed to excellent electrochemical performance.
