Abstract
⺠CdTe photovoltaics suffer from a filtering effect caused by the window layer. ⺠Commercially available semiconductor quantum dots are encapsulated in a PMMA film. ⺠LDS increases the short wavelength photo-conversion of a CdTe device. ⺠Analysis of long wavelength losses shows scattering to be the major loss mechanism. ⺠laser beam induced current measurements of films show gains and losses.
