Abstract
⺠Li4P2O7 coated LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 was prepared and characterized. ⺠Stoichiometric LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 was synthesized as a control. ⺠Li4P2O7 coated and stoichiometric LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 has different space groups. ⺠Li4P2O7 coated LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 shows enhanced rate performance in Li half cells. ⺠Li4P2O7 coated LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 full cells exhibit stable long cycling performance.
