Abstract
⺠The Ge-Na and Ge-K systems are assessed by the CALPHAD approach supported by first-principles calculations. ⺠The enthalpies of formation for the GeNa and GeK are calculated by first-principles calculations. ⺠The similarities of the two systems are demonstrated by comparing the parameters.
