Abstract
⺠Rare earth halides and their mixtures with alkali metal halides have many industrial applications. ⺠This work makes thermodynamic calculations on CeBr3 and MBr-CeBr3 systems. ⺠A good agreement between the experimental data and the calculation is obtained. ⺠The obtained parameters can be extrapolated to the multi-component systems.
