Abstract
⺠The Ni-Zn system is reassessed using the CALPHAD approach. ⺠The order-disorder transition model is employed to describe the bcc_B2 phase. ⺠Reasonable predictions on thermodynamic properties of the Ni-Zn alloys are made. ⺠The previous thermodynamic evaluations are commented on briefly.
