Abstract
Comparison of the macrosegregation patterns for the 4 test cases of equiaxed solidification. The segregation contours are shown in color scale, and they have different distribution ranges, as labeled in the figure. The maximum flow velocity and crystal sedimentation velocity during solidification and the global macrosegregation intensity (GMI) are also given.321
