Abstract
⺠The numerical method is the Discrete-Element-Method. ⺠An enhanced material model is presented for the simulation of life time. ⺠The model is based on the accumulation of microcracks. ⺠The individual results of the simulations are statistically distributed values. ⺠It is shown that the results are in good correlation with the experiments.
