Abstract
⺠Type I collagen adhesion on ceramic surfaces is examined using MD. ⺠Fractal method is employed to generate randomly rough surfaces on nanoscopic scales. ⺠Presence of roughness causes an increase in the adhesion of collagen on surfaces. ⺠By increasing roughness, the adhesion energy is enhanced.
