Abstract
► Type I collagen adhesion on ceramic surfaces is examined using MD. ► Fractal method is employed to generate randomly rough surfaces on nanoscopic scales. ► Presence of roughness causes an increase in the adhesion of collagen on surfaces. ► By increasing roughness, the adhesion energy is enhanced.
