Abstract
⺠Hot compression tests for as-cast 904L austenitic stainless steel are conducted. ⺠The flow curves obtained from hot compression tests are modified by the friction and temperature corrections. ⺠The Arrhenius-type constitutive model with the compensation of strain is developed. ⺠The optimal BP-ANN model with the architecture of 3-11-9-3-1 is identified. ⺠The BP-ANN model has a better prediction of flow behavior in the isothermal hot compression for as-cast 904L steel.
