Abstract
⺠A simple way of hydrogen storage and release by bending carbon nanotubes (CNTs) at room temperature is demonstrated. ⺠Bending different CNTs with different hydrogen molecules was simulated. ⺠Bending the nanotubes to a critical angle, an energy barrier impedes the hydrogen molecules from fleeing out of the CNTs.
