Abstract
⺠Nano-damage in suspended graphene monolayer is modeled. ⺠The self-healing procedure happens under adequate heat treatment. ⺠A possible two-stage self-healing mechanism is proposed. ⺠Thermal fluctuation and the size of damage determine graphene's self-healing capability.
