Abstract
- The problem of interdiffusion in multicomponent-multiphase system is presented.
- The bi-velocity (Darken) method with the phase field model is shown.
- The method allows computing the concentration profiles, diffusion paths, and Kirkendall effect.
- The method allow modeling the coating composition to reduce interdiffusion and stabilize desired microstructure.
