Abstract
- Mechanical properties of Type I collagen embedded with GNRs is examined using MD.
- Pull-out studies are performed to characterize the interfacial properties of these biological nanocomposites.
- Contributions of GNR ripples and pull-out velocity are numerically computed.
- Presence of ripples causes an increase in the shear force of graphene-collagen nanocomposite.
- By increasing the pull-out rate, the interfacial force is enhanced.
