Abstract
- The FE method combines electronic conduction, intercalation induced fracture and percolation.
- Statistically varying micro structural geometries results in large dispersion of the conductivity.
- Reduction of the conductivity is steeper when is restricted to surface coating compared to bulk conduction.
- Longest conduction (percolation) paths yield more reliable results compared to shorter ones.
- Preferable to select the fracture locations based on mechanics rather than randomly.
