Abstract
► Site preference of P at the γ/γ′ interface is not affected by Re-addition. ► Relative to P apart from Re, the interfacial rupture strength is low in the case of P near by Re. ► Strong correlation and repulsive interactions of P-Re is limited in dRe-P ⩽ 2.75 Å. ► Strong repulsive interaction of Re-P is not profitable for the γ/γ′ interface strengthening. ► Extra elastic stain energy mainly originated from strong correlation between dopants.
