Abstract
⺠We model a graphyne family by increasing the acetylene groups from one to five. ⺠We investigate their mechanical properties upon tensile tests. ⺠In the armchair load, more acetylene groups lead to lower Ïc whereas unchanged εF. ⺠In the zigzag load, more acetylene groups result in improved εF whereas unchanged Ïc.
