Abstract
⺠Thermo-elastic stresses in shock-induced multiwall carbon nanotubes are obtained. ⺠Analytical solution for elasticity dynamic continuum model of MWCNTs is developed. ⺠Temperature dependency of material properties is considered. ⺠Displacements and thermal stresses in analytical series forms are presented. ⺠The effects of MWCNTs sizes on thermal dynamic behaviors are investigated.
