Abstract
► A ductile-brittle fracture model was proposed based on microvoid growth. ► A damage variable was obtained based on microvoid growth. ► A finite element program was developed. ► The analyses of microdamage for tensile specimens were carried out. ► Simulation results showed good agreement with the experimental ones.
