Abstract
⺠The flow curves of two different dual phase steels were simulated by FEM. ⺠The microstructures of the studied steels were used as the representative elements. ⺠Failure engineering strains can be estimated well by the utilized numerical method. ⺠The shear dominant failure mode can be proposed for the studied dual phase steels.
