Abstract
⺠We compare microstructure evolution of two-phase and three-phase ceramic materials. ⺠We study effects of particle location and boundary energy ratios on grain growth. ⺠Three-phase materials have better microstructure than two-phase materials. ⺠Boundary energy ratio has significant influence on the pinning effect of particles.
