Abstract
⺠A 3D VOF model was developed to simulate the successive deposition of uniform molten Al droplets onto a moving substrate. ⺠L-shaped ridges were resulted from combination of solidification and oscillation of droplets during deposition. ⺠Experiments were implemented and verified the simulation results.
