Abstract
⺠Method of numerical modeling for open and closed cell aluminum foams is shown. ⺠The research was carried out with the use of CT-scanning. ⺠Compression test of samples was coupled with X-ray scanning process. ⺠Development of undeformed sample numerical model was based on tomography results. ⺠Main mechanisms appearing in foam structure during compression were to described.
