Abstract
⺠The fatigue life of a coarse grained superalloy specimen is investigated. ⺠Grains are approximately in the size of the notch in the specimen. ⺠A Monte Carlo analysis was performed by randomising the grain structure. ⺠Placements and orientations of the grains were randomised. ⺠The output variation in the fatigue life was investigated.
